I had the privilege to interact with senior IAS officers of Uttar Pradesh, at UPAAM, Lucknow organised by PPG Advisory, on the topic – ESG Concepts and relevance in the context of Government Administrators and Regulators.
The principles of ESG are fundamental and all encompassing. Adapting them in an objective organised manner and monitoring the parameters like water recycling, supporting renewable energy use, superior grievances handling, compliance to multiple sustainability regulations, will enhance outcomes including cost cutting, higher revenues and a motivated work force. Government and Corporates stand to benefit in multiple ways from these principles.
Effort to flag some ideas to sensitize on some non financial parameters which can benefit financially too.
